It can be very daunting to be on a gig with a camera you are not familiar with. In the same respect, if you use many types of cameras your brain can go a bit crazy trying to remember where all the menu items hide from camera to camera. I remember I was an AC on an EX3 shoot a while back and I thought to myself, “Uh…I don’t even remember how to turn the thing on it’s been so long.” Online simulators are great for getting up to speed or refreshing your memory.
