Cadillac Spoof
Back in 2009, a friend of mine told me about a Kelly Blue Book video contest. Video submissions were supposed to be a review of a vehicle. I don't enter video contests but an idea immediately popped in my head that I knew I had to do.
I wanted to use my grandmothers 1989 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham d'Elegance as a spoof car review. I found out about the contest less than 48 hrs before the submissions were due so I quickly wrote the script, shot and edited the piece in about 24 hrs. I did my best to desaturate and crush the blacks a little to make it look like 1989 (yes I know it should've been 4x3)
Funniest part is I came in third place out of hundreds of submissions.
